The past few days have been so breezy, which has been quite a (welcome) shock compared to the stagnant air of Manhattan, where I stayed for a few weeks while taking "Summer Live" classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Don't get me wrong, I'd take living in Manhattan anytime, no matter the temperature! But I will admit the breeze felt good on my pale skin (I didn't have much time to tan while in the city!)
I love the contrast between the bright, natural flora and the muted, man-made bricks- the harmony is a perfect example of how the organic/industrial combination should be. That's why The Highline in Chelsea, Manhattan is one of my favorite places!
Here are a few edited photos I thought were inspiring- The flourescent purple bushes on the left look other-wordly, and I think the colors on the right make it look more like a winter scene! I think I look pretty cool with teal hair, too! :)
